Event Button and Laminate Collection

Buttons and Laminates released at Hard Rock Cafe and Pre-Party Shot Glass Events

Started: 2002

  Shot Glass Event Buttons (released by HRC):

• No button in 2003 or 2004.
• Button for 2006 (Indianapolis and Louisville) wasn't available for the event.  No details of where and when it turned up.
• Cleveland had an event and a drink contest button.
• Pittsburgh had a 1 inch and a 2.25 inch button.

  Shot Glass Event Buttons (not released by HRC):

• No button 2002.
• Pre-Party 2005 had 2 buttons
• Pre-Party 2007 was a 1 inch button
• Pre-Party 2008 Hollywood, FL was for a Pin Event but released a shot glass for the charity auction (so we're listing it)
• Pre-Party 2008 New Orleans had 2 buttons
• Post Event 2009 Penn Hills had 2 buttons

  Shot Glass Laminates (released by HRC):

• New Orleans Back to The Bayou event had a laminate for both days - 1 for the shot collectors on Friday night and 1 for pin collectors on Saturday.  Laminates were not available for all registered collectors (not enough were made)!

  Shot Glass Event Laminates (not released by HRC):

• Description:  Denver - Professional sports:  Broncos (NFL), Avalanche (NHL), Rockies (MLB), great fishing.  History:  Buffalo Bill (buried), Dinosaur fossils, Gold Rush.  5280 feet = 1 mile.

• Laminate for Mason Pre-Party 2006 was printed in error.  The official title was changed to Dick's Pre-Party but the wrong design was sent to the printer.  The mistake was realized before the party and redone. 

• Laminate for Winners of the drinking contest held at Dick's Pre-Party 2006.  Only 1 for the King and 1 for the Queen exist.  The laminates were given to Vicki P. and Trevor M. and trophies were handed out to Marco R. and Julie B.  The contest was too successful (drinks consumed) and the prizes were split with the laminates going to the runner ups.

• Laminate for Winners of the drinking contest held at the Pre-Party at the ESPN Zone Denver 20007.  Only 1 of each exist, handed out to Tom C. and Lois M.

• Laminate for Pre-Party in New Orleans, held at the Crescent City Brewhouse 2008.  It's a functional laminate - pull the tab and the options of what to voodoo changes:  Pins, Bears, Floods, Sticks, Shots.  The grey lanyard has hrcshots.com printed on it and has 5 beads (it's New Orleans after all!).  When the white beads are exposed to UV rays, they change colors (blue, orange, purple, pink and yellow). 

• Laminate for Winners of the drinking contest, held at the Pre-Party at the Crescent City Brewhouse 2008.  The design is a Fleur-de-Lis crowned cat.  Only 1 of each exist, handed out to Tom C. and Julie B.  Front and back are shown.

• Draft laminate for Brian Gledhill's post event party.  There were issues with the quality of the printing and it looked like the house was blown up so the design was changed.  1 laminate was made for the early bird registration door prize in Cleveland (won by Trevor M.) and another was framed for Brian. That's Brian's house!

• Laminate for Brian Gledhill's post event party.  Brian is a volunteer fire fighter, hence the design.
