HRC Prototypes This is a list of prototype shot glasses. Prototypes are a initial print run of a design that changed for the mass produced version. Design changes can be quite dramatic and in some cases, the design was never printed after the prototype was made. Shot glasses are Tall unless otherwise specified.

* Las Vegas Hotel Cocktail Waitress "Dolores" and "Jane" Prototype 1 were sold at the San Antonio Cafe for the Charity Auction. The shot glasses were sold to 2 different people, the picture for Jane is from the auction. The story is that the other waitress shots broke, so they no longer exist.
Las Vegas Hotel Cocktail Waitress Set Prototype 2 - when printed the design on the back was flipped so when looking through the front of the shot glass, the names are backwards. There is also one extra waitress in this set - "Dot", which was never made in the final production.
Las Vegas Hotel The Joint Yellow Bottom Prototype was sold for the Charity Auction in Baltimore for $350. The logo is all yellow, the official release has other colors. Picture is of Julie B. holding it the day of the auction (best picture we have of it). Indianapolis Dick's Pre-Party 2006 shot glasses had printing issues. The design had 3 proofs made to better select the final run:
However, the design could not be printed clearly with the selected font and size. The wording above the car and through the car came out too small or smeared on all 3 proofs. The printer made a change to the font for the final run and it was printed using etching on clear glass. Here's the original design, as it appears on the prototype shots. Newport Beach and St. Thomas City 2005 shot glasses were donated by HRC Corp for the Charity Auction at the Indianapolis Cafe during the A Shot At The Finish Line Shot Event 2006. The cafes closed before the shots were sold, only 1 of each is known to exist. Newport was sold in a live auction and St. Thomas was given out in a raffle bag. Pictures were provided by the winners.
